November 01, 07 Newsletter Issue 1
Hello!
This is a reminder that coupons are available at the shop.
The newest one added is the $2.00 off any purchase of $20.00 or more.
Check that page for details.
Note: If you receive coupons from me directly made for you only, you will not see those on that page. You will
need to insert your code I sent you at the bottom of that page 'Look-up Discount Coupon' to check it.
PS: New products added today! Two different packs that include two images and two tubes (pngs) EACH. So
when purchasing either of those, you receive two for the price of one.
Thanks and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

November 22, 07 Newsletter Issue 2
Hello, everyone!
I hope this day finds you well and happy.
First i want to thank you for joining the graphics shop and I certainly hope you are enjoying the art.
Some things of importance to discuss today:
1. Your privacy at tallamygraphics.com is one I take seriously and never will your home address, real name or
phone number be given to third parties, unless you are under investigation by law enforcement authorities.
However, the newsletter subscription service at the site is not working properly and I have to send mail to
everyone at once using the address book. Therefore your email address will show on the cc list.
If you do not want your email to show, contact me and I will send your notices separately.
2. Please read the FAQs at the shop, if you have questions or concerns. More than likely, your question(s) will
be answered there.
3. Remember there are coupons at the shop available. Be sure to look at those!
4. A very serious matter concerns products at the shop, giving away as gifts to other members. Allow me
to clarify once again the significance of this:
Free images at the shop may be given to other User Agreement ID holders, if tubed or not. BUT, EACH user of
my art HAS to have an ID#. I cannot stress this enough. Gifts in this manner only pertain to the FREE
art!
What if you want to give a product away that you purchased?
You have to purchase it for that person, even it means buying again and again for each person.
Look at this way. Let's say you are in the grocery store and you pick up a candy bar for yourself. Your son looks
at you and asks for one, too. Are you going to buy that one candy bar and copy it for your son to have one, too?
No. You buy two!
So, how do you do this at the shop here?
If someone asks you for a "copy" of a purchased tube (png and image pack), what you do is this: Go through the
checkout process and order that product for the person. In the note at PayPal, you must write the gift receiver ID#
and state you are buying it for them! If you want one for yourself, too, you MUST change the 1 to a 2 (or however
many) in the shopping cart amount you are buying.
However, to avoid all the confusion and the possibility of getting yourself into trouble, buy them gift
certificates! And they can get the product(s) themselves.
5. You all need to understand how I keep track of you and your downloads:
When you download the user agreement upon registering at the store, I am notified automatically via email AND I
see it at the shop's administration panel.
What I do then is get your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and place it in a new folder,
naming that folder your personal user agreement ID#.
Literally, folks, I have real folders with real paper I keep in a locked filing cabinet!
If someone bought a product for that person, I write it in there, too.
Then I add your email address to my address book in a category of all members.
When a member orders something (even the free downloads), I write that down in your folder. So, I know exactly
who is buying and downloading what!
Therefore, if I or one of my friends see a tag/snag out there using my non-free art, I will look at the user ID# on it
and go that folder and the store to see if it was actually bought by that person (or legally given to them).
It is all a time-consuming process and yes, it takes away from my painting.
Please don't make this harder for me by cheating the system.
It only makes things that much more difficult and trying and who you are cheating are the multiple legal users.
And you risk getting investigated by law authorities if you buy for yourself, copy the product and give those to
others, too!
So, make it easy for me. Be legal or I'll be forced to shut down the store simply because I can't afford the time or
web space for it anymore.
I am not getting rich here, folks. Over the past few days, I've added 100 new members. Only 5% of those are
buying! I greatly appreciate that! And you will be awarded. Periodically, I send special coupons for
frequent buyers.
Thank you!
Have a great holiday and blesses to you and yours.

NOVEMBER 26, 2007 Newsletter 3
Hi, everyone!
Quick updates on some things and maybe you won't receive another newsletter for awhile.
The shop will be moved to a new and improved server later today, somewhere starting about 5pm U.S. EST. The
database move will not cause interruptions with the site.
But, there may be downtime as the domain name server is moved. We hope it won't be longer than one hour, but it
could be as long as 24 hours.
Your account information and all logged activity will not be affected. And after the domain transfer, all should work as
before. If you notice any weird things happening starting tomorrow evening, please tell me and understand it could
be because of the server move.
If you are in the middle of a download or purchase, log back into your account after 24 hours and check your orders
at your account.
Either the download will be there, or it didn't make it through and you'll have to re-order. Be sure to check your email
to make certain you didn't pay for it before re-ordering!
We apologize in advance if any problems occur. We're just trying to streamline the shop better and make it better for
you.
The recent sale was a big success as far as getting many new members. So many members, in fact, I had to change
the way agreement numbers were issued.
I want to thank each of you for joining and giving me compliments about the art. I am very happy you like it.
So, to thank you, I will have frequent "specials" at the store marking certain products down, starting Nov 27, 07.
Look for them at the bottom of the front page or check the left column link "Specials".
As stated, the User Agreement ID #s are now issued differently.
Check this page for details. Please read it all.
For those of you who previously received ID#s from me directly, keep using those! Don't change them.
There has been some confusion about gift certificates. I highly suggest reading the certificate FAQs before
purchasing or redeeming a certificate. It's not exactly the same as using a coupon.
Please allow up to 24 hours for a certificate to be valid.
What happens is that when a certificate is ordered, I have to go into the store and validate it, then 'release' it.
The store automatically sends the code via email to the person who bought it or to the person who is receiving it as a
gift (or both.. it depends how you set it up when purchasing it.)
After the store "sends" it to your email, I am finally able to see the code, because the code is not generated until then.
So, please do not think that I have the code as soon as you order the certificate.
The gift certificate code is usually up to 10 characters long with letters and numbers.
Just be sure to read the FAQs link I give you here. It will clarify everything. Actually the process is easier than I can
explain it.
Remember, coupons are always available at the shop!
(If you receive a coupon from me directly specifically for you, you will not find your coupon on that page.)
Coupons can not be redeemed within the same order as redeeming a gift certificate. Unfortunately, for now, you have
to make separate orders to redeem either one. We are trying to change that and will let you know when that happens.
Many of you think that you receive your files through email that you purchased from the store, or you're supposed
to get some type of code.
Here is how it works:
When you order something and go through PalPay, you are directed back to the shop to your account.
A download page will automatically be there. Retrieve your files by clicking the "download" button.
If you have ordered something and left the site before the download page showed,
Go back to the shop and login.
Go to "My Account" > "Orders" > "View"
Downloads are available to you up to attempts: 5 times or 30 days.
Then check the download and get it.
There are other options in your account, too, like changing password, account info, etc.
So, when in doubt, check your account!
I LOVE showcasing your designs you make with my art! You are all so talented and I am very in awe of your works.
Hopefully, I will have the page updated by mid December, but if you want your design there, let me know.
If you want a link back to your site, tell me. I'll place it there.
Remember there is a discussion forum for tallamygraphics. You can show off your stats/tags or tutorials there,
too! It's not very active as of yet. I haven't had time to stop over, but plan to make time in the near future.
Register and I'll activate your account there. Maybe we'll have some contests and play around a bit to relax!
Past Newsletters can be read here: http://rtallamy.com/newsletters.html
Be safe, happy and well!
Blesses,
Rachael

November 28, 2007 Newsletter #4
Hello, everyone
I'm sure you're getting tired of seeing these notices, but as we all learn the system, there are glitches and lessons to
pass along to you.
I do hope this will be the last newsletter of the year.
First, when registering, and choosing an option to receive newsletters, be sure to click "html" or else the newsletters
will appear all whacky in your email. You can check your account at the shop and change that option, if need be.
If that doesn't solve the problem, make sure your email is opening rich text formats and html.
Recent November newsletters are posted at the main website:
http://rtallamy.com/newsletters_nov07.html
Big issue is with Gift Certificates:
When you receive a gift certificate via email DO NOT click on the providing link.
If you do, it will show in your shop's account that the certificate has been redeemed, because that link is a redemption
link! And your code will say it's invalid, even though your account will show the certificate.
Instead, copy the redemption code, then log in to the shop via another browser window, and paste or type
the redemption code in the gift certificate box at checkout. Please be certain you also fill in the amount
you want to use next to the code in the little box!
If you have clicked that link from your email, and your redemption code does not work and you can not get it out of
your account, try emailing it to yourself as a gift. You then can go through the correct process as stated to redeem it
in your cart. I did this with a fake account and sent it to another email address of mine and it worked. Whew.
We will be changing the email in the system within the next 2 to 3 days to totally take out that link. So, in the future, if
you receive a gift certificate and that link is not in the email, it's supposed to be that way.
Be sure to check the shop for "specials" that may be going on. You can save 40% on certain artworks until mid
December.
A different artwork will be marked down about every 2-3 days.
I chose the lonely art... the ones who've not been as popular as some of the others. Thought they may want some
lovin, too. :)
New artwork will be going in the shop, I hope, sometime next week .. a winter fae. (If I can ever get the time to finish
painting her).
She will have an introductory price of $1.99 for 24 hours.
About the server move:
After much work and even copying all files/database and the shop being down for several hours on Monday, the
move did not take place.
Current server host, instead, increased our bandwidth at no extra charge.
Very happy about that! However at times, when traffic is heavy, the site may lag here and there, but shouldn't be any
big deal.
Updates to the codes were done and fresh zip files were uploaded.
Thank you all, and if you don't hear from me again, that means no problems!
Have wonderful, happy, healthy, safe holidays!
Rachael
